I do not mean offense to those who are religiousy and whatnot, but if you post a bunch of jesus christy things I’m gonna go ahead a click the unfollow button…

The posts that recently came up on my dash weren’t pushy, I just would rather not have religious content come up onto my dash… I still harbor some resentment towards religion because of the anxiety it caused me during my adolescence. 

Yay! 

I can’t wait to be all done with work, and have some time to get stuff done around the home and go camping and such. I have a very part time babysitting gig set up (3 days a week, every other week), so I’ll be making enough money and have enough time to actually do things like go camping once a month all summer. I am thinking about loading up and going north the last weekend in May.

Except my husband forgot his hat, and downtown Ann Arbor was chilly! The wind was fierce at times. I felt like a bad knitting wife, for not having a hat and scarf to keep him all toasty. So guess what I’ll be knitting for him next? That’s right. A super cute, manly hat and a a manly scarf. I kind of want to find or design a Mjolnir cabling pattern…

Commence drinking dark as night beers, knitting, and listening to a non-stop stream of Steam Powered Giraffe (because I’m obsessed now… my husband claims the only reason I like them is because they are robots in tight pants… I have a sometimes disturbing obsession with robots and androids).

I’ve been making lists, both mentally and written down in my notebook of things I need to/want to make. Well, I finally cast on a hat and I am getting it done super quick! I’m almost halfway there. Now I just need to work on knitting the things that aren’t for me…
