Confession:I don’t think I’ll ever own a pukipuki or pukifee. Its hard enough to justify spending $300 on a doll, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to justify spending that much on a doll that’s only 4 inches tall :/ .I would probably go for one if they were $100, but 2-3 hundred is just to much, you could buy a yo-sd, MSD, or a cheap SD for that much. No matter how cute they are I can’t justify owning one, not even to myself.

/sigh/ I really wish I could justify it though… I’ve been wanting a PKF Zoe for a long time now, but every time I seriously consider purchasing her, I can’t bring myself to do it. Same with MNFs or pretty much anything from FL…

Submission: I’m tired of hearing snide comments from Bobobie owners on how elitist people are if they have gorgeous dolls. Owning a quality outfit, faceup, or even just having a Volks doll automatically brings on the hate. I never hear of people bashing on Chinese dolls, but I hear a lot of bashing on Volks or other high end dolls! Sounds like the pot is calling the kettle black!

Confession: I really respect people that take the trouble to develop their skills in face-ups and/or clothes making, rather than just buying them expensively from the companies.

Confession: I think its hilarious that the Bobobie/Resinsoul people are the ones frothing the most in the confession comments. Guess what? Bobobies and Resinsouls ARE one of the cheapest/lowest quality resin dolls on the market. They are cheaply made out of lightweight plasticky resin, the sculpting is simplistic and asymmetrical, and the engineering/posing of the bodies is very poor. People do in fact often buy them because they don’t want to save for more expensive dolls, and they frequently have shitty faceups and frayed sock clothing. You liking the dolls doesn’t make any of these facts less true, and I say that as someone who actually owns a Bobobie.
Get over yourselves.Check it. I’ve owned three ResinSouls. They can look really awesome, if your put the effort forth. But yeah, I agree with everything said in the confession.
